9th January 2012 - Music

My Chemical Romance

 


The first picture is a still from their video for 'Desolation Row' which was a cover, originally done by Bob Dylan. The Second picture is them on the cover of Kerrang magazine when the came back for their fourth album. The third picture is the cover of their third album 'The Black Parade'. The last picture is from when I went to see them in Birmingham on the 13th of February 2011.
The video is for 'The Ghost of You', a single from their second album 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge'.

Evanescence






The first picture is a still from their video of 'What You Want', the first single released from their third self titled album. The second picture is frontwoman Amy Lee on the cover of Kerrang after coming back with their third album. The third picture is the cover of their second album 'The Open Door'. The fourth picture is from when I won a competition to meet the band on the 13th of November 2011 and the last picture is of the concert later that night.
The video is for 'Lithium', the second single released from 'the Open Door'.

The first picture is the cover of their fourth album 'Fixed at Zero'. the second picture is a still from the video for the single 'Fixed at Zero'. The third picture is from a photoshoot when the VersaEmerge EP came out.
The video is for 'Fixed at Zero', a single from the album of the same name.

The video is one of the very few videos they have released and is for 'Hush', a single from the 'Recover' EP.

  1. Excellent research Laura. Really comprehensive (and you manage to sneak a cheeky pic of you with Evanescence into it to) and clear as to the style you want. I know a lot of people get annoyed by the term Gothic but the fashion is very gothic and should be possible to replicate but I think all these bands have high production values when it comes to their wardrobe.

    My knowledge of this genre is somewhat limited, the only artist I own which are remotely similar are JJ72 (who do feature a female on bass) who disbanded nearly a decade ago
